this is what I do all day…

Thanks for the info! That’s all I needed to hear. Haha.

Hi Shirley,

So, we don’t really keep track of how old our members are, or any ratios like that. And, as you said, the population of Sherman for Fall is in no way finalized. However, I just looked up the first ten members of Sherman Hall, and three out of ten were born in 1987, just like you, so I think you’re going to be in good company.

Thanks! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Subject: Question

To whom it may concern:

I am an incoming freshman to the USCA and was curious if you had any information regarding the ratio or percentage of undergraduate freshman members (or incoming members) out of all USCA members. I realize people are still getting their contracts signed and sent in, but do you have an estimate? I’m just curious how many undergrad freshmen chose alternative housing instead of the university dorms. Understandably, I’m a bit nervous and it would be helpful to know that I won’t be the only freshman in one of two female only houses.

Any information would be helpful,
And thanks,
Shirley

(That and I try to guess what bank produces what credit card based on the first eight digits. 4217 means B of A, and 4217 6589 means B of A debit card. Though I never actually substantiate my research. It’d be wierd to say, “Is that a Wells Fargo credit card?”)

Whatchu think?

  1. 1980FUCKINGSEVEN?! holy shit, i feel faint. and yes, you can tell a lot about a person from the first 8 digits of their credit/debit card. and then the last 4 digits show up on all your receipts, sometimes the last 8 digits (i think?). so imagine you dropped a receipt in the parking lot of your bank, and someone finds it. they’re going to be able to guess your account # by going through a mere 11!, 7! or – gasp! – possibly only 3! combinations (we’re also dealing with the 3-digit security code on the back of the card). then there’s a finite number of possible expiration dates, and if the person is a good handwriting forger…. i’d prefer not to think about it….
