This is the first Van Gogh My Pet portrait that I have done on white paper, on proper canvas, and in a larger (12″x16″ size). I am pleased with the larger size and with the way the colors pop on the white paper.

I’m wondering if maybe vangoghmypet.com was a rash purchase.
I went away for the weekend and one of the first things I did when I got home was to do a portrait of the Guster in the style of Van Gogh. The media is oil pastel.

It has been purported that the portrait looks more like an owl than the Guster.
