I’ll be the only one in sixth grade without a phone.

Pool Party!!! It’s finally comin’ together.

Jenfest

Even at the age of 12 planning for my birthday party (not yet titled Jenfest) began months in advance.

I’ve had fun in fifth grade. Now there is only four days left. Only four days!!! Next year I’ll be in an humongous school with 1,000 people. I’ll never find my classes.

I still have not convinced Mom and Dad about the phone. I’ll be the only one in sixth grade without a phone.

I had my heart set on one of those flourescent light up phones.

I’ve lost hope in Steve asking me out. I don’t like Steve anymore. Last weekend changed it. I mean it won’t do me much good if he asks me out now. I’d probably say ‘no’ anyway.

Next year at this time there will be a mirror on the door. A phone on my nightstand. Cool Clothes in my closet. A pretty, more mature, popular girl on my bed (hopefully me!!!) If everything works out the way I want it to it will be that way. (By the way the girl will have been asked out!)

Questions? Comment? Cigars? Cigarettes?

  1. I wanted a neon pink light-up phone. I remember seeing it at Circuit City when we were looking for a stereo for you. Just think, if you were born later you would have been gushing about wanting the new iPhone or whatever. I don’t remember this Joe character.

    • I changed the names to prevent the innocent. I remember the pink phone. I bet that’s the one I wanted, too.

I do wish they made neon light up cell phones!
